Why do the lenses move around in my eye?

This can be due to the following:
1) As these are yearly lenses they contain less water content, thus, can cause dryness and consequently the lens to move around the eye.
2) You may be wearing the lens incorrectly. Check you are wearing the correct side of the lens.
3) It may be caused by Astigmatism. This means that your cornea is curved differently and so the lens does not fit properly. You need to confirm this with an Ophthalmologist and in the future purchase contact lenses specifically for this condition.

The lenses are uncomfortable and I can feel it scratching my eye.

Make sure you have cleaned the lenses thoroughly with plenty of solution. If this does not rectify the issue, the lens may have been scratched due poor handling and thus are deemed to be damaged, therefore you will need to dispose the lenses and purchase new ones.

How long do the lenses last?

The Hidrocor lenses last 1 year. However, this is only with correct care and attention. We do however recommend you change them after 6 months.
